Stencil Concrete originated in Australia approximately 20 years ago and is fast becoming a popular global surfacing product; currently being used by public bodies, contractors and the general public in over 50 countries worldwide.

Surface Solutions are providing two new stencilling products;

StencilPave is our trademarked name for the horizontal installation of Stencil Concrete and StencilWall is our trademarked name for the vertical application.

Excellent Anti-Slip Characteristics

StencilPave can be installed with freshly laid concrete (Wet Cast System) or applied to existing, structurally sound concrete surfaces (Spray On System).

StencilPave and StencilWall are essentially created using three components:

Wax Paper Stencils

Specially manufactured heavy-duty wax paper, cut into matrix patterns to create the concrete stencil

Colour Surface Hardeners

A pigmented cement powder made of natural iron oxides that colour the concrete

Micro Porous Sealer

The sealer protects the surface from diesel, oil and petrol spillages and also prevents colour fading. Depending on the amount of traffic; an area needs to be resealed approximately every 3-5 years to ensure a long-lasting, top quality surface

Of course, with the Wet Cast System you need the concrete. Surface Solutions always use BSI approved concrete, normally laid to a depth of 100mm.

The finished surface can be finished in numerous different ways to create different effects and textures; from smooth to coarse depending on the clients needs. A StencilPave surface has excellent anti-slip properties.
